Once again, this week has been a busy week at my internship at BlackCurve. After my supervisor being away, I spent some time showing and explaining the different things I had been working on while he was away.
This was really useful to be able to see what would work for a company like BlackCurve, and what would not be either feasible or really fit the nature of the business as a tech company.
It was great to see that some of my ideas would be considered and hopefully implemented, even when I have gone. I had a few ideas for social media, and general awareness exercises to push BlackCurve higher on search engines. I have realised how important this is, as of course it helps generate business, but also shows people what BlackCurve can really offer.
Wireframing was a focus this week in my learning, and it is something that naturally does interest me. It is the process of being able to show one’s ideas in a visual manner, which as a visual learner and person, something that will be so helpful moving forward into my last year at university, and also into my career after my academic studies.
Finally, there was a meeting regarding the product led by the product and tech team in the office this week. It was really interesting to see what work they do, and how they see the product evolving in the future. From a marketing standpoint, this was invaluable and really reflects the transparent nature and team spirit of BlackCurve.
