This week, I have been balancing the PR based tasks I have been set, as well as working on reaching out to more people regarding People of Pricing.
Each Wednesday, we have a new profile published on People of Pricing. As the third profile goes out, I have created a checklist of all the things that need to be done once the post is out. Between the social media posts, and the email campaigns, there is a variety of avenues in which People of Pricing can be advertised.
The second half of the week, my supervisor has been on holiday, and I have been given a long list of things to do. I have been considering different options for the messaging on the website, and the chat boxes that pop up when you load the website.
I also have had a look through the new look of the website, which will be coming soon! It was really interesting being able to look at the new layout of the website, and how BlackCurve are portraying their message.
I also learned about the Pirate metrics funnel, a marketing term which outlines the process from the interest of a potential customer being piqued to the potential customer becoming a fully-fledged customer. Since learning this, I have been working on different ideas for the first three parts of the funnel.
This has showed me the importance of explaining my thought processes, especially when I will be presenting my ideas and need to be able to explain why I think it will be a good idea next week.
